In addition to green and growth, we have a special passion for Land Art. That is art in nature, usually using materials that are available there. The goal is not to surpass nature, but above all to give renewed attention to the wonder of nature.
Land art has a temporary nature – you can’t put it on your mantelpiece – and the decay of the artwork is often art in itself. That is why we usually take photos and films of both the making process and the decay.
In the photo you see an outdoor art project in Utrecht (Kanaalweg) where we connected three willow trees into a living nest. This project ‘ran’ during easter, complete with eggs, broken shells and… dino’s!
Tip: take a look at our installation ‘The nursery of fairies’.
